Jennifer Aniston On Friends Movie: ‘It Wouldn’t Make Sense’
Ugh. For that, we are no more a fan of Jennifer. Okay we’re kidding. Jenner Aniston has said that making a movie on the show which made her a star, Friends would make no sense because the show itself should not be in cinemas, it should be in your living room (whatever that means). Aniston who has had several flops and tops in the film industry since the show concluded back in 04 spoke to The Hollywood Reporter on the idea of having the show made into a movie:
“I can’t imagine how you would do it, unless you did it years from now,” she said. “Friends is in your living room, Friends is not in a movie theatre. I think it would be going against its authentic self. I loved what I did for ten years, it was pure joy and nothing but fun, and it’d be hard to top it… but I’ll never ever say never.”
Well, she said ‘never ever say never’ which is kind of a good way of telling fans that she would consider it if the offer came along. She continued on speaking what her character, Rachel would be doing right now with Ross:
“They’re absolutely, 100% together,” she said. “They have more kids! He’s probably still working, and hopefully they’re still hanging out somewhere.”
Meanwhile, co-star Matt Leblanc also ruled out a Friends movie saying:
“Friends is a multi-camera kind of sitcom in front of a live audience. To do that single-camera… would be weird.”
